The Zapata Ranch is located near the Great Sand Dunes National Park, in a region that is nicknamed ‘American Serengeti’. You almost imagine yourself here in the African desert. The bison ranch is surrounded by large sand dunes, desert vegetation and wild animals such as antelope and deer. The Zapata Ranch considers sustainability to be of paramount importance and work is done with respect for nature. Special are the ‘family style meals’ and the many possible activities (both included in the price). You can immerse yourself in the real ranch life and roll up your sleeves, or go horseback riding or hiking.
