The Top of the Rock observation deck is located on the 70th floor of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. From the observation deck you have a unique view of New York. Take the elevator to the 70th floor, discover the three vantage points and enjoy the 360 degree view from Top of the Rock. On one side there is a beautiful view of Central Park and on the other side you are face to face with the 86-story Empire State Building.
View Top of the Rock
On your way to the top you can enjoy the Mezzanine exhibition, a collection of photos and artifacts that tell the fascinating story of Top of the Rock and Rockefeller Center. After seeing this exhibition your expectations will be even higher! The ride with the lift is spectacular! The roof of the lift is transparent, so you look up in the elevator shaft.
Once upstairs you have a beautiful view of Manhattan, Jersey, Brooklyn and Queens! You will see the Chrysler Building, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Hudson River. You will also see Central Park on the north side and the Empire State Building on the south side!

When I buy tickets online, can I come whenever I want?
Yes. If you buy your Top of the Rock tickets online, or if you use the New York CityPASS or New York Pass, you can visit it whenever you want. When buying your tickets, indicate when you would like to visit Top of the Rock. If your plans change and you want to go on another day, that is not a problem. You do not have to adjust your ticket, just go to Top of the Rock and show your voucher. It all depends, of course, on how busy the observation deck is. Top of the Rock is very busy during the summer holidays. That is why I advise you to exchange your voucher / discount card in advance and to reserve the date and time you would like to visit.
If you would like to view Central Park from above, then I advise you to visit Top of the Rock during the day. You then have the best view of Central Park. When it is dark, the park is not clearly visible.
Location: the main entrance is located on 50th Street between Fifth and 6th Avenue.
